A vulture circles over the ground searching for carrion — everything it eats is already dead. Don't be a vulture, bent toward a dead world. Be like the cātaka bird: she looks only upward, at the rain cloud, and drinks only pure water falling straight from the cloud — never from the ground. Even when lightning flashes and thunder roars, she doesn't lower her gaze, doesn't search for a puddle. She waits for mercy from above.
